What is Rudraaksha? Why 16 types? Why it is related to Lord Shiva?

What is Rudraaksha aspect in human beings? Where and How to wear?

Rudraaksha represents Jnana Chakshu. Thro' Jnana Chakshu i.e.,

Manas/Discrimination/Buddhi/Jnana whatever is called the state of

level of the human being we see in and out.

Those who do the sadhana (path towards their supramental achievements)

towards worshiping Lord Siva do wear this as their symbol.

The real rudraaksha is your discrimination/buddhi ever in seeing the

vicinity of Lord Siva, always crying when felt the separation and red

towards worldly disturbance, etc.

The Manas (mind) which is the reflection of moon do has 16 kalas

(arts/attributes). Every activity of mind drawn towards Atma (Inner

path) will/has to un-envelop the mind. As one side of moon is visible

to the world the mind also sees only towards the world. Once you turn

your mind towards your inner self (Atma) then in the process 16

attributes are achieved. These 16 Kalas are nothing but 16 Rudraaskhas

of Lord Shiva. Sivarathri day represents all these kalas should be

overcome, and reache the abode of Lord Shiva (Paramaatma) i.e., Kailasa.

What are these 16 kalas or Rudraakha of Siva's eyes or Saadhakaa's

achievements?

(1) Thapoyukta " Capable of meeting suffering calmly and bravely;

(2) a Samsaramuktha " free from attachment to the transient and the

changing;

(3) a Paadaasaktha " Eager to be at the Feet of the Lord;

(4) a Vihita " Obeying rules of discipline;

(5) a Daanasahitha " Having a charitable disposition;

(6) a Yasomahitha " Possessing an unsullied reputation;

(7) a Kalmasharahitha " Without blemish;

(8) a Poorna " Contended;

(9) a Gunagana " Equipped with virtues;

(10) an Utheera " Successful in tests;

(11) a Vidyavikeerna " Ripe in scholarship;

(12) a Jnanavistheerna " a master of extensive wisdom;

(13) a Swaatha " satisfied with self;

(14) a Sadguna Krantha " adorned with rare virtues;

(15) a Vinayavisraantha " resting content in happy humility; and

(16) a Paadaswaantha " fully dedicated to the Lotus Feet of God.

This is only to cross the mind/mental kosam (sheath) of a soul. There

are many other aspects one has to cross...?
