The following are the main events/festivals during the first 4 months of the New Year, 2009 :

 

Wednesday, January 7th is Vaikunta Ekadasi

 

Monday, January 12th is Birthday of Swami Vivekananda

 

Wednesday, January 14th is Makara Sankranthi

 

Saturday, January 31st is Vasantha Panchami or Sri Saraswathi Puja

 

Wednesday, February 18th is the Birthday of Sri RamaKrishna.

 

Monday, February 23rd is Maha Shivarathri

 

Friday, April 10th is Good Friday

 

Sunday, April 12 is Easter Sunday

 

Friday, April 3rd is Sri Rama Navami

 

Thursday, April 9th is Hanuman Jayanti

 

Monday, April 13th is Vishu mainly celebrated in Kerala

 

Monday, April 27th is Akshaya Trithiya
