Guest guest Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 The Southern Railway will introduce a direct train service to Prasanti Nilayam from Chennai Central by extending trains (2691/2692) Chennai Central-Bangalore weekend expresses.. The inaugural service will be flagged off by Minister of State for Railways R.Velu on December 7 at the Prasanti Nilayam railway station. Regular service will commence on December 12 from Chennai Central and December 14 from Prasanti Nilayam railway station. The train will leave Chennai Central at 11.30 p.m. on Fridays and reach Prasanti Nilayam railway station at 10.20 a.m. the next day.
