Guest guest
I seek You my Lord I seek You Lord in the shrine for I need to be with You I look for Thee hither and thither and find only a statue Then I hear the voice within urging this soul Ye weak heart look for the Lord with love, and ye are bound to find Him in there. I place my hand on my heart and hear You loud when it beats I look for Ye in the silence of night and find Thee in the brightly lit moon and stars I seek You in the mountains and find Thee in the chirping of the birds I seek Thee in the ocean, and find Ye in the gentle lapping of the water on shore I look for Thee on the hot scorching sunny day only to find Ye under the shade of the tree. Oh ye silly heart and you thought ye could find Him only in the shrine? I question myself, truly there must be a place the Lord does not like? I look around and I feel lost in the chaos of the traffic and noise of people and think surely Lord will not dwell amidst the yelling, madness, and rush? Then I find Thee are the life in the chaos, and creation around me Ah my Lord I now know You are everywhere, Fool that I am, I thought You are confined to a shrine.
