In Krishna Avatar, Krishna has excused Shishupal 100 times. Baba then told us story of Shishupal...Harnakeshab-shishupal-Ravana & Kansa, they were all darbans at the Lords gate and due to their mistakes, they had to go to earth for 7 times, but because they were great devotees of the Lord, they said & prayed to the Lord, that we do not mind to be Rakhsasa, but we don't want to be separate for the Lord far so long. So their curse was reduced to three lives. Swami then told us story: Baba said Rukhmani was very much devoted to Krishna and her story as how she got married to Lord Krishna, and how shushupal was angry waiting for a chance to kill Krishna.

His anger multiplyed and he was killed. Once in the great assembly hall of Dharmraja packed with distinguished gathering of eminent people, the question rose as to who should be given the first offering of respect and honour. Although there were several distinction like Bhishma, Drona etc, the Pandvas decided to give this unique honour only to Krishna, who was their all in all, who stood by them through thick and thin, and who came to their rescuse during many crises. Dharmraja washed Kridhna's feet and gave him the first offering of respect and honour. Shushupal

the narrow minded, could not tolarate Krishna being honoured, in this great assembly of eminent persons, right in front of the great teachers, great sages and great men of honour and distintion. The wicked Shushipal begen showering abuses on Sri Krishna , mentioning for instances that Krishna was a thief eho stole butter from other houses, and who robed the innocencant cow-herd girls of their sarees and indulging in fan and therefore it was right for the august assembly to give primaty honour to Krishna. When this type of abuse by Shishupal exceeded the limits, Krishna suddenly threw at Shushupal the very plate in which Dharamraja made his offering to Krishna. Some says that Krishna threw His Sudershan Chakra at Shushupal, but that is not correct. Swami says it was only with the throwing of the plate that Krishna

severed Sishupal's head. Dharamaraja was exceedingly happy that wiked Sishupal was slain by Krishna. But he was surprised following when he saw the blood from the neck of sisupal flowing on Krishna,s sacred feet and the life flame emerging sishupa body and merged in Sai Kridhna.
