Guest guest
Jai Guru Datta I was made to read the " Datta Dharshan' before coming into contact with the various 'tests'. The touches that were many times cold, many a time hot and sometimes warm, and at times cool. Some of them from His 'limbs', yet some of them directly from 'Him'. How about getting a rough scalding-scolding when being served Food, inside the Prayer hall, by a non-office bearer? How about being asked to get out of the dining hall by a woman volunteer, because of the color of the skin? But then, how about being asked about health(via thought waves and hand signals)by The Almighty, and to do something, from a distance of 50 feet, and that too among a congregation of 10,000 sincere and ardent devotees? How about stopping His car and looking at you (No donation given) from just inches between faces and for a full minute 'Maha Dharshan' that goes direct to your soul? Many would say the book 'Swamiji's life History' is HIs life History. But The Lord has given me 'Datta Dharshan' on the very first visit to Mysore. (He told me personally to read it many times, later) Our Lord is so fond of 'testing' his children. To give His babies, a good bath. Some of the tests are to remove the dustbins of sin. Some of them removes the sin of/from 'others' who have contacted us. Most experiences are beautiful tests. Some tests are to show the world (and the self), who we really are. In ancient times, He made the saints to do severe penance and then gave His Dharshan. These days, He first gives Dharshan, then makes us do the penance (ah, how easy is this penance! Oops... Bite my tongue and knock on wood!) Whatever is your experience. Just remember this. You are one more step closer. Ohm Aiym Hreem Shthreem Shivaraama Anagha Dattaaaya Namaha!
