Guest guest
My Humble Pranams at The Divine Lotus Feet Of The Universal Divine Mother Sai Maa! SaiRam! Swami our beloved Lord has once again reminded of our role in his Divine Mission.Eighty four years have passed by and in every birthday year Swami has set an example ,has set an ideal for us to follow. This is a very humble dedication at the Divine Lotus Feet of our beloved Lord Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba who has inspired millions of people all around the world and in those millions of people HE has inspired me too share with you all the Divine Messages from the book "LOVE and PURITY" By,RATAN LAL.Every day we receive so many messages in our inbox some may be the same things repeated in different contexts and different forms but it is the same TRUTH for us to constantly remind ourselves of our GOALS ,SWAMI has laid before us. MIND Mind is erroneously considered to be mankind's crowning achievement.Man feels it is what sets hin apart from lower animals, and that only through it can he understand and cope with the inerrancies of the world around him.Mind alone,he believes, enables him to know what is real and true,so that he may lead a happy and productive life. However, from the standpoint of Vedantic undrstanding, this elevated conception of mind is unwarranted.Vedanta considers mind to be but a mere shadow of the Truth. This point may be illusatrated with a small example.Let us suppose we are observing a tree while the sun is shining. The Tree casts a shadow, and the shadow keeps moving.Being a reflection, the shadow changes, but the tress does not change. In our example, the tree represents true Existence, which is the SELF.The Shadow, its reflection, represents the MIND.Vedanta says that the mind is but a reflection of the SELF. To be contd... "Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavanthu"! AUM SRI SAI RAM.
