Becoming Who We are " Of course the first place we begin to become who we are is in our families.This process starts even before birth :When you were in the womb, you were in a relationship. You may not have known it then, but your mother and you were really CLOSE. Even for the first year or so after you were born, you were in a relationship with another person-your mom or whoever gave you the most care.As Psychologist D.W.
