DEVOTEE EXPERIENCE

 

This incident happened way back in 2004 in Bangalore where I was staying with my

husband. Unlike my husband, I was then unaware of the silent splendour of Baba.

One particular day in the evening, my husband was chatting with his friend about

Baba and his supreme deeds. I was silently listening to this and in my heart

asked these questions, " Is Baba such a great person? " , " Does He do miracles? " ,

" Is He worthy of so much devotion? " and many more doubts that an atheist would

ask about God. The bell rang and I went out to see who it was.

 

There was a girl standing there with a note book and she said she had come from

Sri Sai orphanage and asked me to help the kids with money or material. I was so

shaken by the coincidence that my eyes filled with tears. Here I was doubting

this immortal person and there He was standing as a girl to answer all my

doubts. Why should the girl come on that particular day, that particular time

from that particular place?

 

That opened my heart and mind towards Baba. I still did not have complete faith

and as time went by, little things kept adding to my faith towards the supreme

soul, Baba and today I know that He exists and blesses anyone who prays to Him

with a sincere heart. May He bless all the devotees and instill never ending

faith in their hearts! Om Sai, Sri Sai, Jai Jai Sai!
