This Little Story brings out an importanat point.It is the mind that changes,the Self is ever-present.However,in order to develop this discrimination,very deep introspection is required.One has to look deeply within.Then,the intuitive experience of the Self can be had.Why is it that one doesnot want to look within?It is because of lack of Love for the Self.One has to develop faith and Love for it.Only then one will seek it.The Self,one's true nature,is also the nearest to oneself.Thought nearest to oneself,one doesnot love it.One loves the objects of the external world,and feels therein one finds all happiness,even if it is transient.
