My humble pranams at the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan. My humble prayers to YOU  that "  HO! MY MERCIFUL LORD, KINDLY DO GOOD DEEDS( Through my body, mind, intellect and ego) "  

 

Dear Saibandhus,

 

Loving Sai Ram.

 

If you have noticed a peculiar twist in my prayer that instead of praying SWAMI to give me strength to do good karmas, rather i am praying SWAMI to do good deeds( through my body, mind, intellect,ego). I am extremely sorry, if i have deeply hurt the sentiments of some devotees. But if you deeply analyse the TRUTH i am expressing below , probably you would understand and sympathise. 

 

 Ho! my dear Lord, by your Abundant Grace i AM AWARE  most of the times the GRAND AND ULTIMATE  TRUTH that I AM NOT THE DOER and YOU ARE THE CAUSE BEHIND ALL THE HAPPENINGS THROUGH MY BODY,MIND,INTELLECT AND EGO.  Therefore, by knowing THIS there is a great SHIFT  in my Prayer at Your Lotus Feet and i think this Prayer is in the right direction.

Therefore, my kind SWAMI, WHETHER IT IS WRONG if the following are the humble requests from some unfortunate individuals,

(1) Is it wrong if an actor completely fed up with the Villain or Bad Roles assigned to him by his Director producing and directing movies---If the actor requests and prays humbly to the Director to assign him only very good and noble roles, because the poor actor is so much engrossed in his Role, he forgets that he is only an Actor, hence identifies himself as a real Villain for ever and suffers the most.  This is his Ajnana.  As he is unable to de-identify with his role of villain, to get freedom from that IDENTIFICATION he requests the Director of the Film to change his roles. Oh my dear LORD is the actor wrong in requesting? 

 .

Now YOU are the DIRECTOR and PRODUCER and INDEED THE ACTOR of the Dramas of my Life ( AND THE WHOLE COSMOS) on the Stage of this World where YOU are enacting all VARIETIES OF ROLES , but makes me believe that I AM THE DOER and with AJNANA, i too think that I AM THE DOER. ( and also i am supposed to perform in those roles to my  best, hence i forget the REALITY ). I am fed up and disgusted in identifying and playing such roles, good as well as bad  endlessly. By your Grace many of the times i KNOW that YOU are the DOER and I AM THE WITNESS.  But i am so deeply identified with these varieties of roles -- which really YOU ARE DOING-- that i am unable to detach from these roles.  Instead of becoming the WITNESS,  i am becoming the DOER and i am suffering.  

 

  Therefore, with no option left, my dear LORD,  i am praying at YOUR LOTUS FEET that YOU DO ONLY GOOD DEEDS with respect to me so that even if i am wrongly identifying with my body etc. i am NOT AFFECTED by the negative or even  positive karmas ( because even good karmas are also impediments for FREEDOM.)

 

(2). It is commonly seen, during some festivals, outside some Temples that a Puppet Master conducts a good Puppet Show on a stage. The master sits himself above the stage invisible to the audience. He has different varieties of puppets/dolls ( king,queen,minister, prince, soldiers, friends,enemies,good man ,bad man and much more) with him on the floor of the stage. He ties one end of many strings to all the puppets at different points and the other ends of the strings are held by his fingers of both the hands, but these strings are invisible to the audience. He pulls skillfully the required  strings and makes the puppets to move their bodies and limbs as desired or as demanded for the drama. The whole play is so skillfully masterminded, the audience believes that the puppets have acted very beautifully and shower praise on the lifeless puppets.

 

 If by chance into these puppet's brain some life is induced, then, wouldn't these puppets think that they are the DOERS, forgetting in their Ajnana that the Puppet Master and his strings are the cause of their actions. Among them, if some puppets are able to know the hands of puppet Master behind the whole drama, and if they are fed up with their negative roles, would it be wrong if some puppets beg the Puppet Master not to pull the strings tied to them in negative directions for bad actions?.

 

My beloved Lord, my condition is also similar to those puppets which beg their Master to change the pulling of strings in his hands differently so that their roles appear Positive. 

My dear Lord, falling at Your Lotus Feet, i beg for your PARDON if i am wrong in praying so.

Kindly LIBERATE ME FROM AJNANA. TAKE ME FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT.

deeply understand. All that truly exist is the divine. So I join you in praying:

Swami, my merciful Lord, I am Your instrument, You are the doer!

Sai Ram Dear Brother Sri Ranganatha Rao,

 

I agree with your thoughts, that in this whole cosmic play, we are his puppets,

entirely made in his Image and with different levels of ignorance called MAYA.

For a jeevathma, who is destined to play the " Bad guy " through his praarabdha

karma, as part of the cosmic play, has and will never intend to play that role,

that will keep him away from God realization. Then in this whole big play,

realization of the truth that we are " God " ourselves, happens only when he

wills it and then the curtain of Maya or ignorance drops, bringing the long play

and journey of an individual soul to an end, with the merging into Paramaathma.

Until then, the little individual soul, goes through a variety of lives, passing

through thousands of lifetimes to get rid of the ignorance along its journey. If

you have God's Grace, then the curtain of ignorance can drop at his will in a

second. And so with the limited Free will that is given to us, we have to turn

our mind towards God and love him, serve him, yearn for his grace. Let him work

through us, making us his instruments, so we turn into a hollowed flute in his

hands, humbled, ego free. If I am asking him to give me strength, then there is

still the existence of " Me " the Ego self. Let us surrender ourselves totally to

him so his will prevails all along. Now, does this even happen by our mere

willing without his plan for us? All we can do is, LOVE GOD and learn to LIVE BY

HIS WILL.

Sai Ram,

 

This is a deep and profound prayer...first one has to admit this truth

that we are just actors

through whom God plays the cosmic drama...it is very hard accepted by human mind

which is

extremely controlling. Somehow, it comes to me that if we only experience

positive, how can we grow?

Also that if we only experience good we can easy get trapped into fame,

pride,being the chosen one etc.

If we only all ask for positive role God will not be able to run the play.

Only God within knows if this is possible. Probably in the future when peace and

love and kindness

will prevail. I love this part!

My dear Lord, falling at Your Lotus Feet, i beg for your PARDON if i am wrong in

praying so.

Kindly LIBERATE ME FROM AJNANA. TAKE ME FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT.

Sai ram i have just read your info below....i need to say that you HAVE not

offended me in any way.

 

As an observation i believe that as Swami knows all things there is no need to

fear . If ANY devotee criticizes another who is trying to seek truth .....are

they trying to become your judge and jury? If ANYONE knew every answer then they

would not be living in the physical embodiment ( Apart from Swami that is!)

You must believe in yourself....follow and feel what is in YOUR heart and no
