Purpose of being a sai devotee

Om Sri Sai Ram to all brothers, sisters, youth and children in the world . I have been silently reading all the discussion forums, experiences, dynamic thoughts and the service and education activities in the Sai Baba Organization and outside of the organization. We get excited when we here about the manifestations, miracles, that is the tangible, materialistic objects as an evidence of his omnipresence. What happens when these manifestations stop??? When the flowers and garlands don't fall from the picture, does he not exist as an eternal witness?? What is the true purpose of all the three wings of worship as a Satya Sai Baba's devotee?? Be somebody in the Organization with a position?? Organize events that will bring people together and push some people away?? Create opinions and act upon presumed notions??? Write untruths and slanders about innocent people for personal gains?? What is the ultimate purpose of being Sai Baba's devotee??? Swami, in simple sentences had given the highest purpose of his omnipresence in the human form is to recognise him within us and in all, including the person who had done the greatest harm, delibeartely and carefully planned at a physical level. He therefore addresses as Divyatma Swarropulara all the time, as we are spects in HIM who is the "ATMA" If that realization exists, will the materialistic value has any importance?? It is true that what Swami gives has invaluable importance, what comes

from his hand is the most precious possession in the world. What is more precious than the most precious gem in the world is the knowledge and the realization of his presence with us, in us and around us. Then why do we have to see him in the moon?? and not everywhere??I am propmpted to write this as some folks talked about seeing him in the moon the other day, on the 22nd, a Poornima day. Swami says "Yat Drisyam, Tat Nasyam" What is seen is temporary and bound to be destroyed. In one of his Gurupoornima discourses, Swami reiterated on teh point of "A-Drishtam" That which is not seen is teh luck or Adrishtam. This unseen but experienced entity or energy is "The Universal Consciousness - Bhagawan in the form of Sri Satya Sai Baba". He can

be seen not only externally, but as the indweller also as we know the "Thoughts, Words and Actions" originate from him. He said who can remove the Lord who dwells in the heart?? He talked about this precious feeling to be held in our hearts with utmost reverence in his discourse, 2005 Gurupoornima time. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was in ecstasy of mergence with mother and was singing on the streets with his Dholak. Street urchins threw away the Dholak. Then he was carrying cymbols. They threw away the cymbols. BUt they could not do anything about his Bhakti, ecstacy felt in sankeertana and the mother Kali in his heart. Are we all missing this Golden opportunity of feeling the Lord within our hearts by diverting ourselves with attention on miracles, positions, and seva because we have to do seva??Are we 100% in acceptance of doing seva as it is

needed than what we want to do?? Are we ready to give up our personal time to go coach elementary school kids and the support the parents to raise focused children, particularly in the slum areas?? (undoubtedly some people are doing this whether they are acknowledged by the organization or not, but as they believe in Swami's teachings) The most precious moments are 0-6 years. Most precious opportunity for the parenst to be the best teachers are also in that age range. Where are we in persistent seva activities to see SAI BABA suffering in these families and the babies?? Did we make a dent in the local city and public schools significantly to bring changes in policies?? Do we have that kind of Unity as Sai Brothers and Sisters ?? When will the

indiviual "I" the "Vyashti" will move with the "Samashti - the society" with the acknowledgement of "He- the Parameshti?" How many can bravely self audit and raise their level of individual consciousness?? To accept self deficiencies needs a lot of courage. Are we the jewels as it read in the Thought for today from Swami or are we the empty jewel boxes without the jewels of his expectations in us?? IT WILL BE REAL NICE TO HEAR INDIVIDUALEXPERIENCES OF ALL BROTHERS AND SISTERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD, WHO BY FOLLOWING BHAGWAN'S TEACHINGS AND LIVING BY HIS TEACHINGS HAD EXPERIENCED HIM INTERNALLY AND CONFESS THAT HE MADE THE DIFFERENCE BECAUSE SAI BABA DWELLS IN

Hi Meenakshi! sai Ram! Well said ...and truly well -written! Many are interested in "False" & "perishable" items ---Power, Fame, Lucre, Relationships, social networking ...all born out of EGO and IGNORANCE ...of the Divine (SAI) TRUTH !!! But a more interesting point is that ...no amount of Prayers or Mailers ...will help raise other people to the Eternal Truth! Why? Because ...it's so simple ...( and it is true ..because Swami says so )

....that ALL that HAPPENS ...( the Good and the Bad) ...is ONLY due to the WILL of the Lord ( Swami ) !
