Namaskar Dr. Sengupta,

The Blessings Process was posted yesterday in a message addressed to

you.

Most of the religious books (Shiva Purana, Rudrakshajapalopanishad,

Srimad Devi Bhagavatam, Skanda Purana, etc.) mention that there is

great karmic merit by giving rudraksha to another person, whether its

a family member, relative or friend. The giver receives 1000-fold

blessings and the receiver also receive blessings.

'Spousal relations' means sex. If engaging in the act, rudraksha

must be removed.

If sleeping on the same bed as your wife and there is no 'spousal

relations' during certain nights, rudraksha can be worn to bed.

Rudraksha still retain their energies, properties and sanctify when

placed upon the altar overnight. In the morning, perform the usual

religious ritual of taking a bath and then putting on the beads with

the mantra Om Namah Shivaya.

Regarding sphatik and other malas, yes they should also be removed

when engaging in spousal relations.

All holy malas such as rudraksha, sphatik and tulsi, etc., can be

worn together or separately. There is no taboo about wearing them

together and no negative outcomes as they are sacred items.

Om Namah Shivaya

correct.

and i want to give it to my wife/ daughter or near or dear to me. or

to any other person like friend/ known person, if someone borrows.

removed during spousal relation , however this not very clear can you

please remove my doubt,

i.e every day we do sleep on the same bed, should the bead/ mala be

removed before going to bed and reinstalled in the moring after puja/

prayer/ bath, if that is so, will the bead/ mala not lose its power

if kept on the alter alone.

> also other mala such as spatik mala. or other malas be reomoved

before going to bed.

> a rudraksha mala is worn and then spatik mala or any other tulsi

mala is worn does it have any effect on the same person, or if there

is any rule that gives positive/ negative effect or a particular

combination to be worn for good result.
