Guest guest
My Humble Salutations At The Divine Lotus Feet Of The Universal Divine Mother Sai Maa! Mind has three characteristics :the Sathwic (pure),the rajasic(active),and the tamasic(dull). In Vedanta, great emphasis is laid upon making the mind pure and stable.Until it is purified and stabilized the mind can never experience its own Vision;and as long as it remains in its polluted state,it will remain a seperate entity from its basic Truth. As such, mind is dedicated to by its innate tendencies, which are impure. They thrive on seeing differences, they are not willing to accept Oneness, they do not want to see unity in multiplicity.Only a pure and still mind,a silent mind, will allow one to experience the Self. Mind is a mere reflection of the ultimate Reality. One takes what one sees to be everything,to be all there is.However, there is the Unseen that lies beneath that which we see,and that is Absolute Existence, which is identical with Pure Awareness. It is That which is our true Being, the Self from which the mind strays away again and again. To be contd.. AUM SRI SAI RAM!
