Guest guest
Sairam embodiments of Sathyam, Shivam, SundaramToday was an extra special day. I was invited by Susy Toth a devotee from Switzerland to a satsang between a group of Latin devotees and Sri Ramesh Kasturi, Kasturi's grandson. We all met in front of Ganesh gate and very soon sped off to the residence of Mr. Kasturi. The house is located in a peaceful, calm setting (chosen by Baba) not far from the Superspecialty hospital. We were graciously greeted by Mr. Kasturi's wife, Roberta. After three Om's and vedic chanting by Mr. Kasturi, the satsang began with Mrs. Kasturi and her husband alternately speaking in English, and a young woman interpreting in Spanish. I took copious notes and will share them in detail later in my publication. The couple shared very old, precious and unique photos of Swami and early Prashanti Nilayam, and Kasturi. As you know Kasturi was Swami's English interpreter before Anil Kumar and experienced many divine adventures with Bhagavan, wrote many wonderful books and is predicted to be Prema Sai's mother in the third incarnation of our Lord Sai.The couple spoke at length. But really grabbed my attention when Mr. Kasturi started relating his grandfather's trip to Badrinath with Sai Avatar. It was particularly wonderful for me to hear this experience since I had just come back from an amazing journey to the Himalayas and Badrinath in June this year. During this trip to Badrinath, Mr. Kasturi described how his grandfather witnessed Swami creating a lingam and a golden lotus pedestal to place the lingam on, also abishekam water for the lingam and flowers to do puja. Mr. Kasturi burst into song singing the bhajan that was sung when the Lingam was manifested, "Om Shivaya, Om Shivaya", a bhajan I truly love to sing in the USA,. He also related that our Baba materialized an idol of Narayana and sang the bhajan associated with that manifestation," Narayana, Narayana". The couple had a photo of Sri Purushotamananda. This sage lived in the Himalayas and had been doing serious tapas. Mr. Kasturi described how on the way back from Badrinath, Baba stopped the bus and walked quickly towards the cave of this great Yogi. Kasturi followed Baba. Baba went inside the cave and told Kasturi not to make any noise, He then closed the door. There was a hole in the door, Kasturi was an eyewitness and peeked through the hole. Swami asked Sri Purushotamananda what he wanted, and he replied that He wanted Swami's darshan of Light. Swami's form disappeared and He granted Him the full illumination of His darshan. After this awesome phenomena, the sage asked if he could place his head in God's lap. Swami bestowed this grace upon the humble sage.Mrs. Kasturi and her husband encouraged us all to do this regularly. To imagine we are laying our heads on God's divine lap and to experience that nearness and dearness. It was a magnificent morning and such a perfect ending to an incredible trip.
