Guest guest
I offer my humble Namaskaram at the Divine lotus feet ofSri Satya Sai Baba. This message is from the book Love is my Message. On the disturbed surface of a pond, the reflection of the moon is wavy; on a clear surface, it is clear and steady. In a muddy pond, the moons' reflection is muddy. Likewise, in the lake of man's mind if it is confused and fickle, his love also gets distorted. When the mind is pure, unselfish and unwavering the Divine appears in all his purity and fullness. Om Sri Sai Ram.
Guest guest
Sai Ram Dear, The water example is very good. However, all spirituality is towards leading to the 'I am I' and that need reducing the mind to ZERO - shunya. No thoughts what so ever. Swami says mind is very difficult to reduce to zero, but possible with constant namsamran - constant recitation of His name. Look the water is the mind, when the water reflects the mind also works its thoughts. When Sun burns the water and evaporates it there is no more any reflection - there is only 'I' left. Similarly the mind, with constant namasmaran becomes bereft of any thoughts. Peace descends. Happiness descends and awareness becomes our being. Sai Ram ~ Be Happy - You are awareness and that is happiness.
