Pls. does anyone know what Baba says about contraceptive pills and generally about contraception? 2. When two people are married, live together and are loyal to each other but they have not desire to have a baby, is it a sin? Tnx. Bhagawan Baba clearly told about this last year about one devotee Auilkumar from Bangalore- who arranged Athi Rudra Mahayagnam - it is not a sin. They have no issues. When Bhgawan asked them, if they want any kids, they did not show any desire. Bhagawan praised them. I have given the name of the devotee for your confirmation. Usually, we should not give the name of any devotee. Regarding the first question, we have not come across as far as my knowledge goes Swami saying against contraception and other methods to avoid children.But contraception is a temporary method to postpone pregnancy and to give a gap between children and for permanent sterility to avoid children after having desired number of kids.But a happily married couple without any desire of children is a rare case of immaturity and something wrong in their mindset though it may not be a sin but an irrevelant,meaningless,purposeless,foolish and inhuman desire.Every one is aware how Swami respects His mother and father and preaches and teaches every moment how to respect,love mother.Swami always preaches that one who loves,respects and serves his or her mother he or she is the most fortunate and blissful person and that's why Eashvaramma day is celebrated every year on May 6th with Swami Himself participating in the celebrations.Is it not enough for you to think of motherhood? This is another cause for disease. This is not good. Control your senses and you will not fall sick. " Now, I know Swami has said many a time that our problems in this world are as we have permitted our organs of reproduction to become organs or recreation. That said, I would advise that the power of senses is very strong and only with mind control can it be tamed. Having a cold bath when desire is too strong is advocated for thos who find control difficult. The Path of Spirituality is a path of Sacrifice. We have to sacrifice pleasure of senses to achieve the comfort of Aatma.
