Dear All,

 

This is just my humble request to members of this elite group.

 

Out of their love for Bhagawan, many of the members have been posting wonderful photos of Bhagawan as well as their centre activities.

 

While nothing can give greater happiness than such photos downloaded, the technology dependent members like me, I am sure, must be experiencing enough problems in downloading as the speed is not generally that high especially in countries like India.

 

Therefore, if the members uploading the photos could take some extra time to compress the photos to a manageable size, it would greatly relieve majority of the members of the problems in downloading.

 

Apart from Microsoft's picture compression utility software, third party software like " GADWIN PRINT SCREEN " which I have been using for years is also available for free. The compression rate achieved is just amazing as you can see from the ones attached to this mail - as against 2 MB plus of the originals, the total size of all the 3 photos as compressed is about 130 KB.

 

There are occasions when large size picture files exceeding 10MB are also received. Especially in the case of those who use E-mail clients like Outlook or Outlook Express for handling mails, such heavy size files virtually hog the line for quite some time.

 

May I, therefore, suggest that in such cases, members posting heavy size files could very well use third party servers like " MEDIAFIRE.COM " and share only the link with the members so that one can download the pictures at a convenient time. Particularly in the case of the above mentioned server it permits one time upload up to 100 MB also with unlimited storage facility.

 

I am sure, members will be good enough to make a note of the above suggestions for better saibabanews experience.
