Guest guest
Sai Ram brother's and sister's , This training module is really excellent - we all can learn Rudram from this link. Please see the link below. I would request brother Shankar to talk more about Rudram as his centre has won awards on Vedic chantings or any one in our Sai forum give us more insights on Rudram. Like how it is beneficial ? when to chant ? can we chant once a week on Mondays ( being Siva's day). I think it will inspire us more if we hear more about Rudram. 3 Oct. Prasanthi bookstore has a new webpage for learning Vedic chants, as they are chanted in Prasanthi Nilayam. http://www.sssbpt. org/sri-rudram/ instructions- to-user.htm
Guest guest
Sairam All, Many thanks for your positive response. The focus is presently really on learning and chanting Rudram, as our Swami is strongly insistind on it. It has really caught on as it is Swami's divine sankalpa. Iam sure all are aware of the 2 magnificcient Athi Rudra Mayagnas at Parthi and Chennai followed by the Sahasra Chandra Darshan Yagna at Puttaparthi, where the Rudram was chanted in Bhagavan's presence by His students and preists. Now when to chant he Rudram--- Any day between 4 am to 8 am and may be 4pm to 8pm which happen to be the Satvik time periods in a day, of which definitely the morning time is better . This month ie. Maagha is very auspicious for Rudram chanting or Shiva Pooja in particular ,this month will be till Shivarathri. So atleast to begin with Rudarm Audio can be played in residences and Sai centres, and it will be ideal to start learning Rudram at the earliest, simply because we have little time and Swami is inssisting we all learn it. We all at SAIPREM (Swami 's mandir at vashi New Mumbai) have started learning it . We have almost finished the first Anuvaaka. The power of collective chanting must be really experienced by actually chanting. All will agree that listening to Rudram is is also very uplifting. There are manifold benefits if the text is literally translated. But more importantly, there are subtle benefits like formulae for preparing herbal medicines etc. which are revealed on by thge grace os Lord SaiShiva. Presently it is essential for our own protection. We are also chanting Veda at Dharkmakshetra ( State Satya Sai centre of MAharashtra, India)every morning we also chanted Rudram on one of the days. It is best to chant it on Shivarathri which is on 23Feb. Will keep sending info as an instrument of Swami.
