A spiritual contemplation as New Year greeting

Light and Love

A peaceful and prosperous New Year to all seekers of

spiritual wisdom.

Swami's one of the earliest message to humanity was "Maanasa Bhajare. "Install the Lord in your heart and offer Him the fruits of your actions and the flowers of your inner thoughts and feelings." (Sathya Sai Speaks. Vol.1. "Maanasa Bhajare," Chapter 1).

At first the inner awareness... then it spreads from Aware Self to outer selves who are on the great path to the Wholeness of the Divine Oneness. It is not important wherever the selves may be on this path. It is important to move forward, certainly Swami's Bliss directs everyone to find methods and tools along this path.

Let's do something different in year 2009, for example, change some bad everyday habits by the inner guidance. Within everyone an immortal Spirit dwells. (The Golden Age realizes in the form as inner world human minds, as spiritual Awareness and then spread to the outer world).

If we reflect a high vibration of Love, Harmony and Gratitude, we must experience things to be also grateful about as like attracts like. This is the law of the Universe. Everything in the Universe is an energy vibration. Every atom, every part of an atom, every electron, every elementary “particle”, even our thoughts and consciousness are just energy vibrations. By the way, multiple experiments by Duke University professor Dan Ariely reveal how our expectations hugely influence our different worldly decisions, and ultimately, our experiences. Impure air, polluted water, adulterated foodstuffs, etc. Nor is that all. Even the minds are polluted. Most of the diseases are caused by aberrations of the mind. Ninety per cent of the diseases are psychological. Constant thinking about one's health is also the cause of many diseases. The mind has thus a vital role in one's health or illness. That was why the sages declared: "The mind is the cause of men's bondage or liberation." When the mind is directed towards sacred things, everything in a man's life becomes sacred." Believing only is not enough. We need to know, we need to experience we need to have a faith to direct our mind towards sacred actions. These words are interpretation from Swami's directions to humans.

But what about recent scientific views?

It is interesting to mention that year 2009 is an International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009) with official slogan "The Universe, Yours to Discover." (www.astronomy2009.org , http://www.astronomy2009.org/resources/branding/) This slogan one can interpret by hug many different levels and aspects.

From ancient times humans minds have always searched the answer in questions like: What is this life all about? Why are we here on earth? Why are there stars in the sky?

Vedic Wisdom and Swami's Teaching as the Divine interpretation of this Wisdom declared that not to know the Self means not to know anything, but who knows the Self has obtained an inner feeling, imagination about The Great One, the whole Universe what is as Microcosm and Macrocosm all together.

"Vedanta (philosophy) exhorts the human being to realise their true nature by a process of enquiry into themself. If you enquire into yourself by putting the question, "Who am I?", back comes the reply, Aham Brahmasmi (I am Brahman). If we could see the world before it enters our eyes it would be a different wave patterns of electro-magnetic vibration and we transform these patterns into reality (from aspect of human's mind, of course) - for example, the mail we are now reading or deleting as out of our interest. Usually we think we see this mail on our display. However, it is within us, within our minds.

Aren’t modern science missing something important about the Universe?

Don’t you feel uneasy about the fact that the modern science of the 21-st century is built around the "uncertainty principle"? (Heisenberg W., Physics and Philosophy. Penguin, 1989).

Is the information exchange only the main function of the electro-magnetic field within and around our body, our planet and the Universe? Is our consciousness only electro-magnetic (electro-photonic as particle-wave) by the nature?

Is our intellect encoded in electrons and photons at quantum level or is there something els beyond this?

Is the answer to the entire Universe encoded in our own mind?

Penfield, the widely known doctor in brain surgery, after a lifetime of research insisted that the origin of human consciousness is definitely not anywhere in the brain.Have we just found where and how it is actually encoded? (W.G.Penfield et.al., The Mystery of the Mind. Princeton University Press, 1975).

We cannot give or sell to other persons anyone from whatsoever our imaginations. Every person needs to develop it on its own. We cannot understand anything for anyone. Every person needs to achieve understanding on its own. We cannot experience, express or even establish a need for feelings such as Love, Compassion for anyone else. Every person needs to learn it all on its own. We can only express from many different aspects our experiences, knowledge, views, etc. to other persons as an information, as 'topics' for study, in purpose that they themselves can making choices and experiencing their consequences.

We know that we live in a four-dimensional universe. Or do we? Some new theories of physics predict that one of the three dimensions of space could be a kind of an illusion - that in actuality all the particles and fields that make up reality are moving about in a two-dimensional realm as holographic essence of creation. By this the consciousness is one of the aspects of the Holographic Play of vibration of energy (The Divine Play by Swami) what is possible to imagine for terms understandable to human beings as endless 'play' of fractals.

/Fractals are shapes which show similar features at different sizes and aspects. Fractal shapes are characterized by the property of self-similarity. It is that one and the same feature is repeated with some intervals between these "units" or "modules". So the reduced versions of the fractal appear throughout the fractal. For instance, each branch of the fern is a reduced version of the entire fern. Blood circulation and nervous system are formed like a tree (large vessels form the same dissipative structures as micro vessels). Heart beat, turbulent weather, the stock market, and mountains also exhibit self-similarity and so on/. All the Universe is nothing more than a Gigant Holographic Fractal. PS: A photo gifted me by Swami's devotee Syrje has attached. It is sand Mandala performed (monks-painters used sand of different colors) several years ago by the group of guests - Tibetian monks in Tallinn. When the painting of Mandala has finished, they pull it away, out... and nothing remains from their work.
