Experience - How Swami answered my question

Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters!I just want to narrate an incident from last year, when Swami answered my question. Because of chronic infections of my tonsils, I was considering an opeation. As the doctors were not sure if the tonsils should be removed, I didn't know what to do. Even though it's a relatively simple operation, I never had any surgery, and due to some heart problems, I was a little scared. As I had already planned a trip to Prashanti Nilayam, I prayed to Swami to clarify the matter during my stay at the Divine Abode.I didn't have any clue that my question would be answered during the first day in Puttaparthi!

After evening darshan, I decided to visit the bookstore. There are so many books there! Somehow I felt tempted to pick up a very small book (43 pages) from Mrs. Radha Sreedharan, titled "Precious Moments with Bhagavan Sri

Sathya Sai Baba". This book was positioned very low in the bookshelf and, even though it is a very nice book, the eyes wouldn't easily fall on it.

I first opened the book at page 41 and the chapter's title was "Operation for Tonsillitis"!! It describes how Mrs. Sreedharan asked Swami about the surgery that was planned to be performed on her granddaughter. Bhagavan told her that the "removal of the tonsils was a small operation". Even though there was some bleeding after the first operation, it stopped after a second one and everything was alright.How mysterious are the ways of the Lord!! At a totally unexpected time and way, He assured me that I should go ahead with the surgery and that everything will be alright.Needless to say, my tonsils were removed and the operation went well! After some days there was some bleeding, but it stopped without another surgery.Truly, when we pray to Bhagavan with faith, He will answer all our

questions and fulfil our needs!May Swami continue to shower His grace on all of you!!Sai Ram,Peter (Germany)
