Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM "I preach only one religion- the religion of Love" –Baba. Last weekend, I was visiting my Belgian friends, Annick and Mark in Waterloo. On the eve of 'Krishna Jayanti', I sadly wondered where I could go for prayers on the following auspicious Sunday. There was no Sai Centre or Hindu temple in the vicinity. Suddenly, I observed that there was a possibility that the Antwerp Sai Centre was celebrating the event. Mark, who had never heard of Bhagawan Baba before, kindly volunteered to take me along the one hour drive to the Sathya Sai Lingam Centre in Antwerp. The next thing we did was to hurriedly phone the Centre to find out about the timings of events. Unfortunately, Brother Ramananda, the Chairman, announced that the centre was not celebrating' Krishna Jayanti' nor was there was any bhajan as all the devotees were visiting Parthi. Moreover, they have bhajans only on Thursday. I was devastated. However, Baba came to my rescue when Annick suggested that we could go for prayers and meditation at the Buddhist Temple in Huy. Both Annick and Mark are devotees of Lord Buddha. They were delighted to hear from me that Lord Krishna (the Poorna Avatar) and Lord Buddha are both incarnations of Lord Vishnu. In the afternoon of Sunday 25th August, we drove to the awe-inspiring retreat in the green countryside of the Ardennes. The 'Lamas' (the spiritual teachers) who perform the prayers had, unluckily, left for Cadzand in the Netherlands on the eve. A Flemish lady invited us to join her and other devotees in the temple of Lord Buddha. She volunteered to say the prayers which were in Tibetan and we repeated after her in chorus like a big Sai family. It was a most blissful experience! We then sat in meditation (silent sitting for some) for twenty minutes. JAI SAI RAM! BABA says "The individualism of man can be cured only by the potent drug of "LOVE". The forces of BROTHERHOOD have to overpower the negative influence of every individual and promote unity and strength. I preach only one religion- Love for all- which alone can integrate the human race into a brotherhood of man, embedded in the maturity of the Divine…I want to build one humanity without any religion, caste or other barrier in a universal empire of Love which will enable My devotees to feel the world as their own family!"
