There was an emotional moment for MC Sandy Raidoo as she read out the citations for the various awardees and then ended with that for her father, well-known Lenasia photographer Krish Ramlugan, who she said had repeatedly declined to be included on the list of awardees despite being the founder of the group. To loud applause, Ramlugan accepted the award and recognised the role of others in the success of the group, before she showed a collection of photographs detailing how it had started with humble services in a private home, moving venues several times across Lenasia until it found its current permanent abode. http://www.thepost.co.za/index.php?fArticleId=4731783
