Avatar declaration day

Sairam.

It is by sheer coincidence that I stumbled upon a website link to

Swami containing a list of some of the Leela performed by Swami. One

thing led to the other. I discovered the existence of this Group and

the fact that today is the Declaration of the Sai Avatar day. Becoming

a member of this Group is one more blessing that I have received from

Swami.

A pious soul in an unlikely vocation, that of being a sailor in

commercial navy, and his wonderful wife caused the first miracle to

happen. That is of my being drawn into the Sai fold forever. He has

taken permanent residence in the " Kingdom of Lord Sai " - that is

Prashanti Nilayam. I consider them as my Gurus.

Since then, miracles of the kind that could be deciphered only by the

recipient, happened one after the other. Surely not those enviable

Divine gifts like physical proximity or getting an interview. Whatever

happened have happened in the inner realm of the mind with proof from

tangible signs. I remain inquisitive. When such things happen at a

distance of 400 or 900 KM from Prashanti Nilayam, that is Swami. To

sum up briefly, the fragrance of fresh Jasmine flower could be smelt

by all present even when one devotee surrendered completely. Yes.

Swami, the eternal fruit, does not discriminate among His children.

So much for now. Nearly two decades down the line, I am no longer

actively involved in rendering service - to the Society, to the

students and to the needy - Narayana Seva. So I do not have any

pretensions about being an ardent devotee of Swami. He made me a

beneficiary of His Leela many a times and showered bliss from time to

time.

It is payback time for the devotee. In gold, hard currency or real

estate? Not at all. Our Emperor can create such things at Will. The

payback is doing Seva to his less privileged children, sublime Ego,

doing one's karma with 100% precision and within the stipulated time

very much the same way as God does. Once we commit ourselves with

total surrender, Swami is there to shape the raw clay in us -the body,

the mind and the intellect.

This is the discipline that I have have failed to cultivate. Since the

Root Cause is known, I keep trying. The day such efforts sublimate the

Ego and do a 100% surrender, Swami will take over.

What sustains me? Whatever may be the distance and time, once we are

into the Divine path, We can never stray from the circular or

elliptical orbit of which Swami is the nucleus or the shining Sun.

Swami is beyond the dimensions of distance and time. As a mortal who

is unable to separate the body and the soul in this birth so far, I

believe it will happen in some birth including the Present and some

time including the Present.

Swami has the answer. I am waiting for the Day when " I " get separated

from the Maya of the body and the Mind or when all of them become One.

Once I commence the spiritual journey, Swami is there as a beacon of

light with an extended arm.

The answer is within.
