Reason behind singing Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavantu

Om Sai Ram dear Sai family,

 

since 31st august 08,there has been a slight change in the last part of

arathi.on that day instead of singing LOKA SAMASTHA SUKHINO BHAVANTHU students

sang SAMASTHA LOKA SUKHINO BHAVANTHU.Since then it has been a hot topic among

devotees.if we look deeper into it, there are 3

worlds,swarga,madhya & patala.heaven above,human in the middle and hell in the

underground.some puranas even say there are 14 lokas(worlds).it seems Swami,

while conversing with students the other day said instead of saying MAY ALL THE

LIVING IN THIS WORLD BE HAPPY,pray for all the worlds to be happy by saying

SAMASTHA LOKA SUKHINO BHAVANTHU which i think is more apt and will make all

happy especially to those who believe in more than one world.so sai centers and

bhajan groups kindly note this small change in our Swami's arathi.
