September 6th 4:00 pm - Vinayaka Chathurthi Celebrations in Puttaparthi

 

 

The idols decorated by students of Swami's institutes were brought to

mandir for Swami's blessings yesterday evening, before being taken to

immerse in the water. They brought 17 Idols of Vinayaka in all shapes

and sizes. Employees from Hospital and Airport also took part with

their idols in the celebrations. After receiving Swami's blessings

there was a small program and two students dressed as Lord Shiva and

Goddess Parvathi (who are the parents of Lord Vianayaka) came and

received Swami's blessings. After the small program all the idols were

taken to immerse in water. They filled Puttaparthi with bhajans and

chantings of Ganapathi Bapa Moriya.
