Guest guest Posted May 19, 2008 Report Share Posted May 19, 2008 Sai Ram Everyone,I just got another gush of inspiration and with that, this poem was born.A Shelter When It RainedIs Heaven created only for the Christians & Muslims?While Nirvana is created only for the Buddhists?And is Karma only for the Hindus?Which is which?I'm lost!The Muslims & Christians believe in Heaven & Hell,While the Hindus & Buddhists believe in Reincarnation,Who should i believe?Who shall i follow?I'm lost!The Hindus claim they have their own God,The Muslims too,The Christians are no different!Who's right and who's wrong?I'm lost!But my doubts were answered,When the rain poured,Drenching the Muslim fakir,Drenching Christian father,Drenching the Hindu monk,Drenching everyone from head to toe.The fakir spreads his umbrella,The father runs for shelter,The monk covers his head with a piece of cloth,Everyone seeking shelter from anything they could find.And when the rain stopped,The rainbows welcomed the sun,The Muslim fakir,The Christian father,And the Hindu monk,All came out of their shelter,And resumed their daily lives,Forgetting that each of them,Were finding for the very same shelter,When it rained..Regards & Love,-Sukhbir Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
