Baba, the

Poorna Avatar, has the Divine Kala (Power) of Universal Omniscience. Many

devotees have had bewildering experiences of the Omniscient Lord when suddenly

in the interview room, He reveals something to them which they had cautiously

kept as a secret over the years. Baba says: "You cannot hide anything or keep

any secret from me!"

 

In this

context, I wish to share with you this amusing incident which happened to Sir

Aneerood Jugnauth,QC, the then Prime Minister of Mauritius (now the President

of the Republic). Sir Aneerood is well known for his steadfast love and

devotion for Bhagawan Baba.

 

In 1992,

Sir Aneerood arrived in Parthi accompanied by his wife, Lady Sarojini, the Home

Secretary, Sir Bhinod Bacha and Mr Nando Bodha, his Attaché de Presse. Baba

received them heartily. At one point in time, Baba asked Sir Aneerood for his

wedding ring; without second thoughts, he removed his wedding ring and handed

it over to Baba. But Baba kept saying: "Your wedding ring, your wedding ring!" The

members of the delegation were stunned.

 

Well, Sir

Aneerood had to admit that the wedding ring on his ring finger was not the ring

with which he was wedded. He had removed his ring in a wash room at the Prime

Minister's Office and had completely forgotten about it until one day he

realised that he had lost the ring. He had the wedding ring replaced without

telling his wife and voila! The cat was out of the bag!

 

We should

never crave for an interview or anything at all from the Poorna Avatar; He

knows what to give to us and when. We must have Faith and Patience.
