Guest guest
Several months ago I had ordered a rudraksha bracelet to wear. At the time I was ordering it, I was thinking about ordering one for a friend of mine but, being Catholic, I wasn't sure she would wear it so I decided to wait. When I received the box in the mail, I opened the box and what a surprise to find there was another bracelet in there that I hadn't ordered! So I gave the bracelet to my friend and told her it was a gift from Sai Baba. Several years ago, the same friend had quit her job after her boss had become very abusive (he had already been sued for sexual harassment but was never fired because his mother-in-law owned the business) and then she found out the guy she was training at work was being paid more than her after she had been there for two years. As she was walking to a friend's house to do cleaning one day she was praying because she had no money for food and she also needed cigarettes which she was addicted to (but has since quit smoking). After saying a prayer she took a few steps, looked down and lo and behold there was money on the ground! She picked it up and counted it. It was $35. Last week, at my house, she had gotten a Quaker granola bar and had unwrapped it and broken off a piece to eat. When she went to take another piece she asked me if I had taken a bite of her granola bar because there was a big piece missing and she had not touched it. I thought, gee, I'm kind of big and I think you would notice it if I walked over there and took a bite of your granola bar! She said there were teeth marks even though she had broken off her piece. She told me she was looking forward to eating that bite because it had a nice bite of marshmallow (it was a smore). I looked and I could see the teeth marks and I laughed thinking that Baba beat her to it! Then we both laughed and she offered me the part where he had taken a bite. I told her we should share it but she wanted me to have it so I did and thanked Baba for the sweet and very unexpected leela. When I do bhajans at home I often put dried apricots, almonds or oranges out and he never has eaten anything and he knows I have been waiting (patiently...knowing that God does not need the calories)! I love his sense of humor. Who would think he would do smore granola bars? LOL.
