Chennai

Timings - January 18th

The seven-day Sri Sathya Sai Bhagavatha Sapthagam in Chennai began here on

January 18 on a happy note. The sapthgam, a lecture about Sri Sathya Sai

Baba’s earlier age miracles, lectures, the purpose of His Avatar in this

world, His achievements to humanity as a whole and his life history are all

given lecture by the Prema Group of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation at its

venue in East Tambaram, Chennai coming under the purview of the Kancheepuram

District.

The seven-day lecture, considered to be as thesis on Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai

Baba is analyzing the Bhaghavan’s purpose of Avatar with Lord Krishna.

The topics to be covered in the coming days lecture is the uttering of

Bhaghavan’s names which act as the thunder bolt for anyone to achieve the

desired goals in one’s life. Servicing to the humanity as a whole to

economically depressed and weaker sections is tantamount doing service for

Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

T.E.Vasudevan, an ardent devotee of Bhaghavan earlier gave lectures on the

leelas of Bhaghvan in his younger days. During his lecture, he had pointed out

that Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born in a poor family. In order to prove

that He is an Avatar he materializes lingam from his body, Vasudevan said.

During his lecture he recalled Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s sayings that in India alone various Avtars of God taking place,

because in India

alone one could do services.

Mr Vasudevan in his lecture underlined that Swamy at his younger days liked to

have the holy ashes on his forehead. He loved to have it always. That’s

was the reason why Sai Baba materializes the vibhuthi from his hands and

distributes them, Vasudevan said. Similarly, Bhaghvan liked a big kumkum tilak

to appear on His mother Easwaramma’s forehead. He himself, created the

kumkum and made a big tilakam on Easwarama’s head, Vasu Devan said.
