Guest guest
Sai Ram Brothers and Sisters on the same pilgrimage. Swami in a recent discourse on 13 November 2007 used the clock to explain the difference between Akhand and Khand Bhajans. He said, the Khand (broken) bhajans are like the second needle on the clock above and the Akhand (Unbroken, ceaseless) Bhajan is like the minute hand above. One khand bhajan gives one full movement to second hand which has no (no) perceptible movement on the hour hand - which is God. In Akhand Bhajans, the minute hand moves one circle and there is a perceptible movement in the hour hand with one full move of minute hand. He further said - the Akhand should not mean - leaving our job or neglecting our works and duties - even while doing those activities - the akhand bhajan or namsmaran should go on. This is also the CIA - Prof. Anil Kumar ofter refers to in His Sunday Talks - what is Constant Integerated Awareness. Let me also assure all devotees that if in waking hours they can do the namsmaran - silently in their minds and hearts - and go off to sleep doing the namasmaran - they will wake up with the blissful feeling when they realise that on waking also they were doing the namasmaran. Just do it for 24 hours and taste the movement of the Hour hand. Sai Ram ~ Be Happy JP www.sailopics.com
