I wish to share the recent contribution of Sri Satya Sai Organisation at Chennai for providing a water tanker lorry to supply drinking water to city slums. I have attached the photos, wherein the inauguration was done by the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu and the Public Affairs Minister opening the tap. We all must singularly appreciate the good gesture of the organisation.

 

 

Some may wonder that it is a very small thing, normally done by any seva organisation. But what I want to particularly share is the thought and creativity that had gone into making this tanker; because generally if anyone says water tanker, our thoughts immediately go to the people shouting and fighting to find a place in queue behind the vehicle. Whereas in this vehicle, at any one time, nine persons can take water, without affecting each other. The idea is quite creative. And the time to supply gets reduced so that more trips can be done by the same vehicle.

 

I once again compliment the brain behind the scheme.
