Guest guest
Sairam Swami had once declared, " THE TIME IS NOT FAR WHEN I'LL START GIVING DARSHAN FROM THE SKY " , and I used to wonder about it. I thought the crowd of devotees would grow to be so large that Kulwant hall would not suffice, and Swami would have to give Darshan from so high above an open ground But now I realise He LITERALLY meant Darshan from the sky! And many times recently Swami talked about travelling throughout the world, and again I thought He was talking about physically visiting other countries. But that's exactly what He's doing now.. travelling throughout the world Swami talked of a time when the whole world would become a Sai world, when every person would begin to realize His Divinity. And now, many people, irrespective of whether they r devotees, are being blessed with the Divine Darshan, and in such a unique way that they have to believe in His Divinity. And of course Swami also said, " There will be a time when my Devotees are worshipped " . Just like the vanaras are worshipped for merely being with Rama, the Pandavas and Gopikas being revered for being with Krishna, how fortunate are we, whom GOD chose to be His contemporaries. Let us never be misguided by the thought that we have done something right by choosing Swami! `He who chooses the Divine is in fact chosen BY the Divine'. We can attribute different reasons for Swami choosing us like past karma and merit etc; but truly, as every devotee knows in his heart, it is only His Unconditional, Infinite Love, nothing else. Has Swami ever waited a second when we called out to Him for help? Has He ever paused to think about how many rights and wrongs we did in our previous lives? He is LOVE, and love cannot have conditions, or limits. Once somebody told Swami, " Swami, You are the ocean of love " . Swami corrected him, " No. The ocean has limits, but Swami's Love has no limits " But one thing we ought to understand is that Swami's Love is strong, and without any weakness, any soft corners. When He says, " I give to the Needy and not to the Greedy " , it reflects the strength of His Love. A mother gives her child, what he needs and not what he wants. When Swami turns a deaf ear to our wishes and demands, or even to some of our ardent prayers, it is nothing but the strength of His Love, the Love that endures a few tears now for the sake of a thousand smiles to come.
