Darshan-Attaining the perfection of Vision

For a long time I have been reading all the wonderful

accounts of devotees and their experiences with Swami especially those who have

seen Him and spoken to Him. This had contributed to my intense longing to go to

Prashanti to see Swami. I kept asking Swami when He would make it possible for

me to have His Darshan. Then today, just a few minutes ago, Swami finally gave

me some sense and revealed how we can have His Darshan all the time no matter

where we are:

 

Darshan

 

I do not understand

The ways of Your miracles

Everywhere, I see only tests and trials

You say it is all for my best

Yet my mind will not believe it

Many times I ask You but silent You remain

Prayers I have plenty but answers none to name

You call me in a language

Only You can understand

My ignorance is obvious, still

You persist in my thoughts

People, places, voices, moments,

I struggle to see Your image in these streams of

coincidence

Looking with blind eyes at the waves of Your

providence

I have told myself to forget You,

You can be explained away

Like sunrise and sunset, just an equation away, still

There You are everyday with the birth of children

And only now I awake in Your truth,

Open my eyes and suffer the illusion,

Close them and discover You with single, perfect

vision.
