Due to its grandeur, aesthetic values, scenic beauty and majestic look, it is a great crowd puller.  It boasts of an awesome 65-foot high depiction of Lord Shiva seated in Lotus position against the backdrop of Mount Kailash (the Lord's heavenly abode) and the river Ganga flowing from his matted locks as depicted in the mythology.  The statue is surrounded by a small pond where in people throw coins to fulfill their wishes after chanting prayers too their deity. There is a special box where in you can drop a letter to god.   The Sacred Hudi where you can send letters to GodNearby the statue of Lord Shiva there is a sacred pond.  That’s the Hawan Kund:  The temple features a unique Miracle Spot near the sacred pond. It is deemed that the once a devotee throws in spiritual coins chanting ‘OM NAMAH SHIVAYA’ seven times with a wish in mind, it comes true. Deities near the sacred pond  At the entrance there is a huge statue of Lord Ganesh. It is the 32 feet Vignaharan Ganapathi. Ganesha also spelled Ganesa or Ganesh and also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and Pillaiyar, is one of the best-known and most worshiped deities in the Hindu pantheon. Although he is known by many other attributes, Ganesha’s elephant head makes him easy to identify. Lord Ganesha is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and more generally as Lord of Beginnings and Lord of Obstacles (Vighnesha, Vighneshvara), patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom. He is honored at the start of rituals and ceremonies and invoked as Patron of Letters during writing sessions.    May Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesh make our lives worth living and bless our souls with their divine darshan..  By Deepa H to Sai Picture gallery ..
