Saiam,

Happy BABA's day to you all. There is a lot of similarity between Baba and Jesus, dont you reckon. Jesus ressurects after three days, BABA left his praan for a period of three days and returned back to life on the third day before the sunset. This fact alone is sufficient to say that God is one and we call Him with different names. Happy Easter to you all.

Often people think worshiping BABA means following self imposed torturous formalities. People forget that all BABA wanted was love and devotion not any kind of paraphenalia to show their devotion. If one is sincere in their love towards God and wants to serve HIM then they would recognise that God lives in needy, poor and downtrodden and the disadvantaged people. Those who recognise god as such do not hesitate to serve the poor and needy without any ask. Those who are ready to sacrifice money to build huge temples, or donate gold to the temples are merely showing to the world that they have devotion. The true lovers of BABA would know that BABA can be pleased only through service and all the humbug is just that - a humbug and showoff for which there is no place in Sai-ism. Next time when we take money out of the pocket to give it in the temples let us ask ourselves, If I love BABA do I have the ability to sponsor a girl child? provide food to the need for a day, feed a poor begger at a resturant provide good clothing to the needy? if there is even an iota of hesitation then maybe we need to instrospect and see what is our expectation in the devotion towards the Lord. Here is the message for the week from BABA ...

"

Naradiya Kirtan-Paddhati Generally our Haridasas, while performing the Kirtan, wear a gala and full dress. They put on a head-dress, either a pheta or a turban, a long flowing coat with a shirt inside, an uparane (short dhotar) on the shoulders and the usual long dhotar from the waist below. Dressed in this fashion for some Kirtan in the Shirdi village, Dasganu once went to bow to Baba. Baba asked him - "Well, bridegroom! where are you going dressed so beautifully like this?" 'For performing a Kirtan' was the reply. Then Baba said - "Why do you want all this

paraphemalia-coat, uparani and pheta etc, doff all that before Me, why wear them

on the body?" Dasganu immediately took them off and placed them at the Baba's Feet. From that time Dasganu never wore these things while performing the Kirtan. He was always bare from waist upwards, a pair of `chiplis' was in his hand and a garland round his neck. This is not in consonance with the practice generally followed by all the Hardidasa, but this is the best and the purest method. The sage Narada, from whom the Kirtan-Paddhati originated, wore nothing on his trunk and head. He carried a 'veena' in his hand, and wandered from place to place everywhere singing the glory of the Lord. " Chapter 15 SSS

BABA bless us to be humble kind and compassionate always. Give us the wisdom to choose right from wrong.

Humble pranams
