May this year bring happiness, joy peace and prosperity to one and all and may all your wishes be fulfilled by our merciful lord. Today we commence our Satcharita Parayana, the first one for this year. We start new year with too many hopes aspirations and look forward to Baba's guidance and His assurance. We all look towards Baba for guidance. We know that when we make decisions based on our assumptions we make mistakes, but knowing that Baba is there to guide us and when we take every step in our life with His grace then we are assured that it would be right decision and that it is inspired by Baba. Having Faith in Baba is key to our spiritual success. Baba has heard many of our prayers. Human mind and needs are not limited and there is no restriction to the wants. This year, let us pray to Baba to bring us a little more closer to Him and ask Him to help us limit our wants and help us to always ask to get closer to Him. When we trust Him implicitly He will guide us. Here is the message from Baba the first of it for 2010.. Power and Efficacy of Udi Once it happened that at Balaji's death anniversary day, a certain number of guests were invited and the dinner was prepared for them. But at the dinner-time it was found that thrice the number of people invited had turned up. Mrs. Newaskar was in a fix. She thought that the food would not suffice for the people assembled and that if it fell short, the honour of the family would be at stake. Her mother-in-law comforted her by saying, "Don't be afraid, it is not ours, but Sai's food; cover every vessel with cloth, putting some Udi in it, and serve from the same without opening it : Sai will save us from ignominy." She did as she was advised and it was found to their surprise and joy that not only did the food suffice for all, but plenty of it remained after serving.
