Dear Vignes Do not get disheartened that Swamy has not given a clear reply to what you asked by placing two slips of paper in front of his lotus feet. Many people use this technique successfully and once they get an answer - right or wrong - they follow it to the end - breaking through whatever hurdle that may come. My reading in your case is as follows:

 

You are quite devoted and have a capability to intuite things and also capable of getting mental guidence from Swamy.

But you are somewhat unsure of your intuitions and want easy way out where you want the Lord to answer through a slip.

Swamy says the moment you think of him he instantaneously guides you but you percieve the answer according to your receptivity and awareness of the external hints and indications and internal motivations. Therefore:

Keep praying for guidence and to be led by hand to the right course - but do not be obsessive - be detached and be patient.

Pl observe your deepest emotions and thoughts and external hints and indications. Sometimes it may take some time/ days for the answer to be clear.

If you still are not clear - include in your prayers a humble and heartfelt statement that being divine mother and father he must stop you from doing any thing wrong which is his responsibility and for which he has the complete authority - so as to ensure that you do what is best for your life - and then proceed in the direction which appeals to your heart. Swamy will surely take care.

It also appears to me that Swamy wants you to progress on proper discriminative thought and decision making process and not depend on instant answers. Therefore watch your heart.

Slip method is a good method where such decisions that cannot be decided by just thought but need to be decided - where the pros and cons appear to be equally balanced to the ordinary intellect - such as if you give me a pair shoes as gift out of love and I want to know whether Swamy wants me to accept the same - even if I think on this for a year I will still have two equally logical answer - by accepting your gift I am accepting your love and make you happy; on the other hand I may feel accepting un-necessary gifts may add to my Karma. Therefore, the slip method is good if I am loath of rejecting your gift instantly.

In addition, pray that what ever guidence you get whether from Slip or other intuition you lay the responsibility on Swamy to give you strength and carry you through - leave it to Swamy and do not doubt.

Now wherever you are do not feel disheartened - kick the fear out - and put your heart and soul into the task and come out with flying colours.

Please read Sri Satya Sai Chalisa daily - its a MASTERPIECE - that a compilation of words that have issued out of Swamy's mouth from time to time. It will change your outlook. IN Mr.VIGNESH CASE, IT IS ALL KNOWN TO SWAMI CERTAINLY. WHATEVER HE DOES IS ONLY FOR OUR GOOD ALTHOUGH IT MAY APPEAR THE OTHERWAY ROUND IN THE BEGINNING. HE ONLY KNOWS THE REASON WHICH WILL EVENTUALLY BE REVEALED TO THE PARTY CONCERNED AND AS OF NOW WE HAVE TO LEAVE IT AS IT AS. OF COURSE, ANXIETY AND DISAPPIOINTMENT WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR THE AFFECTED PERSON WHILE OTHERS LIKE ME START ADVISING AS TO WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO! PRAYERS ALONE WILL REDEEM.
