Guest guest
Few days back , i've asked about wearing rudraksha while going thru security checks at airport. Now that i've reached U.S safely , i thought i will let you know my experience. I was wearing a custom rudraksh combination mala (in thread + one center piece in silver) as well as i was carrying some nepal beads and a rosary mala in my bag. Didnt have any problems at the security gates . Upon arriving in u.s there is a customs form which we need to fill out in case we are carrying any plants, seeds, vegetables . I was confused whether to declare in this form since rudraksh bead itself has seeds within it and indirectly i was bringing seeds to u.s. But then at that time i kept quiet. Not sure if i did right or wrong . Others who have travelled to U.S carrying loose beads in your hand bag( which will be x- ray scanned) , did the customs ever asked you about the seeds within the rudraksha beads? - Rajesh , " rajesht_99 " <rajesht_99 wrote: > > Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences.
