Everyone

born in the world has a name and form. But the Divinity within has no name or

form. The individual with name and form is filled with egoism and

possessiveness. These qualities are the cause of one's pleasure and pain,

happiness and sorrow. Hence, everyone must strive to curb these two tendencies.

The knowledge of the Supreme Self is associated with total freedom from

Ahamkara (egoism). Those who have no taint of ego in them are totally free from

the consequences of actions, regardless of the actions they

Setiap

orang yang terlahir ke dunia ini pasti memiliki nama dan rupa. Namun tidaklah

demikian halnya dengan Divinity yang ada di dalam diri masing-masing, Ia tak

mempunyai nama dan rupa. Seseorang individu - yang memiliki nama dan rupa -

memiliki sifat-sifat egoisme dan rasa kepemilikan. Kualitas-kualitas diri

seperti inilah yang menjadi sumber penyebab dari rasa senang dan sedih, rasa

enak dan menderita, dan sebagainya. Oleh sebab itu, setiap orang perlu berupaya

untuk mengekang kecenderungan negatif tersebut (ego dan rasa memiliki).

Pengetahuan tentang Supreme Self (Atma) diasosiasikan dengan kemerdekaan total

dari Ahamkara (egoisme). Bagi yang sudah berhasil mengatasi jeratan ego di

dalam dirinya, mereka sudah tidak lagi terikat oleh konsekuensi

tindakan-tindakannya.

que nace en el mundo tiene un nombre y una forma. Pero la Divinidad en el

interior no tiene nombre ni forma. El individuo con nombre y forma está

henchido de egoísmo y de sentido posesivo. Estas cualidades son la causa del placer y el dolor de

uno, de la felicidad y el pesar. Por lo tanto,cada uno debe esforzarse en poner

freno a esas dos tendencias. El conocimiento del Ser Supremo se asocia a la
