Swamiji gives us this opportunity to make us increase our own japa counts. I

know a tiny weeny bit of how our Lord imparts advanced training, or actual/real

training to anyone who feels that he is ready for teaching others.

There is no offense here, as human nature is that, one who wants to give/share

his knowledge, begins to try and find listeners. One has to do it without the

ego part, that's all, but how to do it properly?

That proper way of teaching , is taught by our Lord. I have seen some people,

who were given that opportunity by our Lord. I don't know whether they are aware

of Swamiji's real intention, but whatever our Lord does, there will be a

meaning. If there is no meaning, then that action is supposed/meant  to create a

new meaning.!

 

It is a bit difficult to keep the count, and many fear the wrong reporting. Some

would report less, for the fear of over reporting.I think that's OK. Our Lord

knows the real count, what is going to be the final count.

 

For those who find it difficult, difficult to keep the count, I have an idea.

Look at the clock and chant at your normal speed. How many for a minute. Right? 

Whenever you could be alone, anywhere, anytime, (as long as you are breathng or

your ticker is clicking, chant. Mentally or physically. No Problem. Count the

minutes  passed. Multiply.

 

When you are working, you would need a break once in an hour, or two. Chant for

5 minutes. There will be a 100 counts. Not only you are refreshed, you get that

break fully utilized.

 

Watching the telly villy, NP! channel shifting, surfing...NP. AS long as you

need not concentrate on the job, you can let this chant contnue to ring in your

inner years, the mind.

Listening to the recordings, will help in the deep recording of the chants

inside your mind.

Sometimes, you can find yourself chanting the mantra, clearly in your dreams!

 

There is no competetion. There is no top 10 here. But, think that these mantra

japa count is like collecting something, you feel so good with. some people

would like to collect, coins, bells, flowers, stones, $20 bills and yet some

guys would go collect cars PJ., etc.

 

Let us collect. And let others too collect.

If the Lord says, 2 crores, it is 2 crores.

Remember, all of a sudden the Tough Task Master, may or may not increase it!

my assumptions on Swamiji's Devotees and Japa mantra chantings. Thank you for
