Sai Ram to all Sai Devotees

I live in Penang, Malaysia. Many years back when I was in Sydney, Australia, I met Sis Viji who is a Sai devotee. Sis Viji gave me Baba's photo with the lingam and a booklet on "OM" when I returned home. I did not understand why Sis Viji gave me the photo and booklet. I did inform her that I am not a sai devotee and declined her invitation to attend bhajan at her centre. I kept both items in my prayer room for many years. (more than 12 years).

Suddenly one day, my dad had to be admitted in the hospital as he was very ill. He was in ICU. Not knowing that it was his D Day, I took my maid with me to visit my dad at 6a.m. I also took along the booklet and the photo which Sis Viji gave me. I asked my maid to press the photo of Baba with the lingam on my dad's chest while I read the booklet on "OM" softly to my dad. After that I put Baba's photo underneath his pillow.

I send my maid back home and went to Krishna temple to collect "Holy Water". I fetched my mum to visit my dad. My mum did not know that my dad was dying. I asked her to pour the holy water into my dad's mouth while I played the tape on "Gayathri Mantra" chanted by Baba.

Actually I did not know what I was doing. It was as if someone was instructing me.

My dad died peacefully listening to the Gayathri Mantra and the lingam photo underneath his pillow.

My dad was a staunch sai devotee but he never attended any bhajans nor involved himself in any sai activities.

What shocked me was that Baba used me as his instrument to fulfill my dad's wishes without me knowing that I was being used.

My dad was at bliss when he died. He merged with Baba.

I realised that the photo and booklet which Sis Viji gave to me was actually meant for my dad. I was just safekeeping them for him until the right time.

If you really love Baba and trust him, he will take care of you till the end. You do not have to worry about who will take care of you. He will choose someone to take care of you. Have faith in him. I used to question my dad as to why he worships a living human being. Now I know the answer. I realised that Baba was taking care of my dad and easing his pain. He even arranged my dad's funeral. Everything was taken care of and none of us knew that it was Baba's doing.

What I do not understand is why I had to receive the photo from Sis Viji who resides in Australia? Why not from someone in Penang, Malaysia? Why was it given to me many years back and not just before my dad's illness? Why I had to hold on to it for so long?

I am waiting for the answers. I do not know when Baba will answer me.
