Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM "The one and only one I am shall be seen as if I am in many forms!"- Baba. The following is a true story which I wish to share with you, dear fellow travellers. As it happens, everyday either I experience or I meet someone who has lived, a new phenomenon where I find that the teachings of Bhagawan Baba have found their rightful application. Hence, when an elderly lady, Anjalay, related the outcome of her spiritual quest to me, I immediately recalled Baba's irrevocable assertion 'All the forms of God are Mine!' Anjalay came back to London from Pondu, after spending her sixtieth summer with her close relatives and friends. Simultaneously, her visit to India was heralded by pilgrimages to temples and to the shrines of saints. She used to go to these places of worship before she tied the knot with the Londonwale, Sri Ramani Ji (of late). The memories of the exquisite holiday spent in her birth place, a land of tradition, values and spiritual grandeur, she vouched, will accompany her till the end. "In every nook and corner of the road, there is a temple!" she exclaimed. "Fortunately here I can go for spiritual satsangs at the Sai Baba Centre in Central London on Sundays." However, fate had a nasty surprise for her. As soon as she returned to her adoptive country, she began to have bouts of osteoarthritis. Furthermore, she did not have the luxury of the car. Her son had sold the car to pay for the mortgage. Nonetheless, one memorable Sunday, she made the firm decision to attend to the Sai Baba Satsang .To calm the atrocious pains and aches in her joints and bones, she took two tablets of Codeine Paracetamol. She set out on her journey. After, the tube had crossed two stations, Anjalay, started to sense a churning motion in her stomach. The painkiller did not agree with her. She felt nauseous. She, desperately, had to spew. She alighted at the next station and came out from the underground. The fresh air did not make her feel any better. She hastily looked for a quiet place to empty her stomach. Once she was relieved, she sat on an old wooden bench by the roadside. "Well, it looks like Baba does not want me to be with Him to-day!" she sighed. She, painfully, pulled herself on her heavy legs. She crossed the road to catch the tube which was going in the opposite direction. Lo! She beheld a primeval church a few yards away from the station. A true devotee of Baba, she paved her way serenely to that blissful House of God. As she stepped in, she saw Lord Jesus Christ welcoming her with open arms. He seemed to have been waiting for her for a long time…Jai Sai Ram! Thank you for reading At the Lotus Feet of Sai Anita
