ie ,

The following can be glanced ., practised . realised .

Raja Yoga - The art thru which KRISHNA made ARJUNA realise that

He the Athma and Arjuna are different . That He is Krishna Bhava .

So ' have no feeling for the Guru or anything at all .. Jus do . Jus perform ' !

Raja Yoga practise - Take the light spot in the ' agya - the bindhi spot ',

to the ' paranthamam/ heaven / our home of shiva - our original home '

which is much above us passing across

the Brahma loga, Vishnu loga & Shankar loga.

Absorb all the golden red light properties of Lord Shiva our Light-Formed

Father . Then get back to the ' bindhi ' .

YOU THEREBY BRING DOWN ALL THE SPIRITUAL TREASURES

OF YOUR OWN FATHER'S HOME ... ITS ALL YOURS !! YOU AND YOUR

FATHER ARE ONE . HIS AND YOURS ARE ONE TOO !

Japa Yoga - RAVANA REPEATED THE NAME OF THE LORD SHIVA .

Ravana derived all the treasury blessings of the Lord . Only his bad thoughts

of subsequent days , caused him crises .. But Japa Yoga is Japa magic !

Japa Yoga - Sit straight . Take Long breaths . Chant the name of any one

god . Take the sound slowly inwards .. Keep on chanting .. until you

start with the crown chakra ( top head ) to the mooladhara ( tail bone ) and

dive deeper into inner chanting ,.., Keep the manthra going even after

rising up from meditation and starting to routine works .. Japa Yoga becomes

a permanent part of the living person .

YOU THEREBY DO AND PERFORM EVERY THING BY THE GUIDANCE OF

THE LORD WHOSE NAME IS REVERBERATING WITHIN YOU .

BAKTHI YOGA - THAT DEVOTION BY ARJUNA TO KRISHNA AND OF

ANCHANEYA TO RAMA .

Bakthi Yoga practise - SURRENDER . Simply obey . Simply surrender to

Swami . He and you become One and the same . And His manifestations

can be seen everywhere .

YOU THEREBY BECOME THE ONE AND THE SAME WITH SWAMI .

Meditation originated from Vedic Hinduism which is the oldest religion that professes meditation as a spiritual and religious practice.Evidence of the origins of meditation extends back to a time before recorded history. Archaeologists tell us the practice may have existed among the first Indian civilisations. Indian scriptures dating back 5000 years describe meditation techniques. From its ancient beginnings and over thousands of years, meditation has developed into a structured practice used today by millions of people worldwide of differing nationalities and religious beliefs.[9]There are several types of meditation in Hinduism. Amongst these types are: * Vedanta, a form of Jnana Yoga. * Raja Yoga as outlined by Patanjali, which describes eight "limbs" of spiritual practices, half of which might be classified as meditation. Underlying them is the

assumption that a yogi should still the fluctuations of his or her mind: Yoga cittavrrti nirodha. * Surat shabd yoga, or "sound and light meditation" * Japa Yoga, in which a mantra is repeated aloud or silently * Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of love and devotion, in which the seeker is focused on an object of devotion, eg Krishna * Hatha Yoga, in which postures and meditations are aimed at raising the spiritual energy, known as Kundalini, which rises through energy centres known as chakrasThe objective of meditation is to reach a calm state of mind. Patanjali, in his Yoga Sutras, described five different states of mind: Ksipta, Mudha, Viksipta, Ekagra and Nirodha. Ksipta defines a very agitated mind, unable to think, listen or remain quiet. It is jumping from one thought to another. In Mudha no information seems to reach the brain; the person is absentminded. Viksipta is a higher state where the mind receives information but is not able to process it.

It moves from one thought to another, in a confused inner speech. Ekagra is the state of a calm mind but not asleep. The person is focused and can pay attention. Lastly Nirodha, when the mind is not disturbed by erratic thoughts, it is completely focused, as when you are meditating or totally centered in what you are doing. The ultimate end of meditation according to Patanjali is the destruction of primal ignorance (avidya) and the realization of and establishment in the essential nature of the Self.
