Where can a fish find the greatest happiness? In water, in a full flooded river or the sea. If you place it in a golden plate set with gems, can it derive any joy from that good fortune? So too, man can be happy only when he is merged in thoughts of the God from whom he has come, by whom he lives and into whom he merges.- From Swami's Divine Discourse on March 30,1973.
