He shook hands with some, but brought joy and bliss to all. He opened up each person’s heart to receive what he was about to share. With salutations to Baba, Prof Anil Kumar began his talk by showing that Bhajan (a Sanskrit word denoting congregational singing in praise of God) is a significant stepping-stone/ doorway into the Sai movement as it is generally the most common/popular means of introduction into the movement. He proceeded to speak about the impact on and roles/responsibilit ies of the individual devotee as well as the congregation involved in bhajan. The audience was mesmerized as he narrated

individual experiences with Sri Sathya Sai Baba throughout his speech and was left gasping for more when the session ended. "PREPARING FOR LIFE, NOT JUST FOR A LIVING"Friday, 30 May 2008, 7.30pm to 10.00pmSingapore Conference Hall Once again, Prof Anil Kumar did not disappoint his audience. All who were present relished each experience that he had with Baba wherein Baba, in His loving manner, taught Prof Anil Kumar how to prepare for life and not just for a living. As Prof Anil Kumar shared how he

faced his own trials and tribulations in life and rose above them, many felt that they had received answers to their prayers and questions. The intermittent bhajan singing renewed faith and devotion in many as God is the only permanent entity throughout one’s life. "BEING HAPPY"Saturday, 31 May 2008, 6.00pm to 9.00pmSingapore EXPO (Conf Halls A-F) One thousand people were kept glued to their seats as Prof Anil Kumar engaged them in Sai humour and enthralled them with Sai miracles. The two huge screens at both sides of the hall ensured that everyone was able to get a good

view of Prof Anil Kumar as he animatedly spoke and uplifted everyone’s spirits. Each one was embraced by the spiritual energy and love that was in the air, and all left the hall with a smile on their face, peace in their mind and love in their heart. “UNIQUENESS OF SAI YOUTH”Sunday, 1 June 2008, 6.00pm to 9.00pmDBS Auditorium In a fully-packed auditorium, Prof Anil Kumar took the youth through an exciting journey from the realm of matter to that of the spirit. In a society where materialistic pursuits have become the norm, Prof Anil

Kumar talked about the significance of living based on perfecting the character through simple living yet high thinking, and the relentless practice of human values. He inspired youth to meet the various challenges that they needed to meet in the daily lives; from excelling in their duties in material world to rising up to perform the soul stirring selfless responsibilities they need to assume in order to become beacons of lights for other young people in society. Being the final session of the series of talks, Prof Anil Kumar was treated to a special ‘thank you cum farewell’ programme where we expressed our gratitude to Bhagawan Baba for sending Prof Anil Kumar to Singapore. Many felt heavy in their hearts and tears rolled down some cheeks as we listened to Prof Anil Kumar’s closing remarks when he emotionally shared that he will never forget his stay in Singapore till his last breath. Everyone sang their hearts out during arathi and the auditorium

resounded with 3 loud ‘Jai!’ to bring to a close the four days of happiness, joy and bliss that one usually experiences in Prashanti Nilayam, but with Baba’s grace, we experienced right here in Singapore! Ram ChuganiKobe, Japanrgcjp
