We are devoted only for the sake of wordly success. We all pray for material gain, which is nothing but appeals, demands and requests for fulfilments of desires. This is not prayer at all. This is not devotion. The right wayto pray is to accept and surrender to the will of the Lord. It is also an act of thamksgiving and act of gratitude to God. When we feel a sense of gratitude, then prayer is no longer for any receiving or a business contract- we can then acquire equal mindness. Bhagavan explains that while all the peop;e have problems, these problems are temporary, like passing clouds and don't stay with us for long. Every problem has to lesson to teach. Any suffering has a message to convey. All this is a process of self-evolution, stage by stage, like graduating from one examination to the next. Those, which we consider as difficulties, are but steps towards ultimate spiritual evolution. Baba declares that pain and pleaure co-exist together: One is the obverse, the other is reverse. One cannot be separeted from other. Sai Ram, Lovingly in Sai, Ram.Chugani Ram ChuganiKobe, Japanrgcjp
