Guest guest
Grief Grief and joy are two sides of a coin. Grief brings discomfort but makes joy more valuable. The period of grief is difficult to endure. Joy after grief is, like the shade of a tree to a tired traveler. A glass of water to a dry and thirsty throat. Good health, after long suffering and sickness. Grief brings creations unimaginable by the human mind. Taj mahal built by Shahjahan in the memory of Mumtaz is the result of his ailing heart. Grief makes a person strong, courageous and better able to face adversities. Contemplation in grief brings purity of heart. Grief is like the fire that removes impurities of gold. It is like a bitter medicine which cures the disease. Most of us remember God only in grief. We know God loves us the most only when others betray. Grief teaches us to remain calm, in all circumstances. It is grief alone which teaches us to surrender to His will.
