Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM "Sai Miracles are not constrained to the materialisation of objects... they are beyond what the physical eyes can see…" With these reflective words, Police Sergeant, Mrs. Kamala Moorugan started to relate to me the wonderful miracles which marked her life from 1990 to 1993. "I was a very sceptic when I joined a group of Sai devotees which was leaving for Puttaparthi in November 1990. I did not belong to any group or centre. I had heard about the miracles performed by Sai Baba. He blessed people with healings and cures in private interviews. Only those who wear a scarf indicating their homeland are called in the Interview Room of Sai Baba, it was said. When I reached Puttaparthi, I without fail wore the scarf which the group leader had ceremoniously handed over to me. I sat in the darshan line twice a day for two whole weeks silently and fervently praying for an interview. I had honestly and purposely come to Puttaparthi to expose an intimate problem to Sai Baba and to seek a remedy; nothing more, nothing less. After two weeks, we started to pack to leave the ashram. In the meantime, my feelings of doubt had smouldered. I sadly realised that we were among the unfortunate who had not been favoured with an interview. I did not lose hope; as I closed my eyes to sleep, on the eve of our departure, I earnestly prayed to Sai Baba. In the early hours of the morning, He came in my dream and He blessed me with a short but significant private interview -Hello! He said -Sairam! I spluttered in wonder - What's the problem? -I have been married eight years. I am barren. - Don't worry! You will have not only one but two kids Was it a dream? Or was it a fabrication of my mind out of sheer despair? I left the dream behind when we checked out and I forgot all about it. In early January the following year, I missed my mens. Cautious, I waited for a further six weeks before I went for a pregnancy test. Positive! I could hardly contain my joy. I broke into tears. It's a miracle! It's a miracle! I repeated to myself. I rushed home and hastily opened my ward robe. The only picture of Sai Baba I had in my possession was haphazardly stuck in the wooden frame of the mirror in the door of the ward robe. I thanked Sai Baba profusely and reckoned that the place of his picture was verily on my altar with all the other deities, Gods and Goddess. After eight years of marriage, Sai Leela (leela meaning miracle), my daughter was born at the beginning of the falls in 1991 and two years after I was pampered with the arrival of a baby boy. Jai Sai Ram! " At the Lotus Feet of Sai Anita
