If you can raise pointed queries, you will get answers from somebody or the other. You should delink your mundane experiences, happenings, thoughts etc. etc. from Baba. Swamy is an Avatar and a Self-Realized person without any attachments to this world and the mundane objects and beings of the world. Your mission and Swamy`s mission are not identical. He is our Guru and saviour. You and I are poles apart from Swamy. For all that is happening with you, pl. do not hold Swamy responsible. Swamy can not be expected to alter your fate just like that. God is everywhere. He is also within you as a (Sakshi) spectator. He is a witness to all that is happening at the planes of the body, mind and intellect. He does not take part in your decision-making and actions. Make unconditional surrender to the Lord and take a chance. Pl. understand that you are the architect and creator of all that is happening to you. Right now you are engaged in writing the blue-print for your future. If you engage yourself in noble and selfless thoughts, deeds etc. etc. your future will be better than what it is to-day. Possibly, in the past births you might have entertained ignoble thoughts and indulged yourself in sinful acts. Your present sufferings could be attributed to those thoughts, deeds etec. etc. None can escape the effects when the cause was not noble. " We always come out of pain better and improved. Also, lord has softest corner for the devotees who suffer. Karma theory is true, no doubt about that. But once you have surrendered yourself to Swami, he has taken charge of you. So, weather life gives pain or pleasure, just take them equally and remember that accepting everything with same feeling shall bring us closer to him. Its tru that our sufferings are because of our past deeds(karma). Unless we know what we had really done in our previous life, it is really hard to digest the hardships which are the fruits of those karmas. As our beloved Swamy says very often, we are responsible for our problems. Peace, pleasure and purity are within ourselves. It is for the purpose of digging them out of us that we are given human forms. Take strong hold of our Saima during tribulations chanting His name as many times as possible and you are sure to extricate yourself from any worldly trials. I have just read you mail but it does not seem to be clear to me about what is your problem exactly. I can understand only that you are going through a difficult time could you write to me and give me some more details may be then I wll be in a better position to advise you or give you some kind of moral support.(By the way I am a lecturer in a polytechnic in Mauritius, I am 41 Yrs and a mother of two girls) You know dear, life is very beautiful and you must enjoy living life and you yourself have just said that Baba helps you. Take full advantage of that Why give up ? All of us, in this Kaliyug have problems, but there is definitely solutions. You must I believe, reevaluate your situation. And than take control Just don't sit and think when things will turn right NO or think that anybody will just make things right for you NO . This is your life. But we have to understand that nothing can happen without Swami's will.. Without his permission, even a leaf cannot move. We are lucky that we have been given this wonderful opportunity of knowing and praying to the Avatar, when he has taken his birth in a human form. Imagine the fact, that among bhagwan's millions and trillions of creations, we all have the beautiful chance of being able to know about Him, wonder on His leelas, experience His presence every moment in our lives, hold His hand in our troubles. Is this not the biggest grace conferred upon us. It is our previous life merits that has given us this opportunity. Swami always says that He will never interfere with Karma. He is the law maker, what will happen to the Srushti, if He starts breaking them. When we accept all the good happening to us, as a gift from Him, then why not accept all adversities as a gift too. I learnt as a Balvikas student that everything is Krishna Prasadam. So accept it as it comes as a gift from the Lord and do every work as an offering to Him. As a kid this helped me overcome all my failures and made me humble in my success. Our only work is to do our duty, it is impossible to satisfy people's expectations. But it is possible to do our work as an offering to Lord. In this way, we are sure that we have put our 100%. As long as you are keeping up to your expectations and doing work to your best, forget about the world. People around us may not be fortunate enough to known the Lord, we can merely sympathize with such people & pray to the Lord to show them the right path. Do not let their negativity to affect you. Simply concentrate on their good part and ignore their negativity. Hope my words can give you some solace. Ultimately it is Swami who is our best friend & guide. Rest people will simply come & go. More is said than done but his Nama smarana (utterence of his divine name) is the easiest route to spirituality or annihilating karma. it is not that Baba's devotees have no pains or travails in life. With Baba's divine intervention our outlook transforms into the path of eternal bliss or " SADAAnanda " . This world is a drama and our role is to perform with goal of uniting with eternal bliss. What is built will be destroyed sometime. There is no other friend than the Highest self, that is atma, who is within you and eternally watching your growth. In a fraction of a second Swami realizes your needs, wants and feelings as he is your in dweller. Do not for a moment think that he does not know or that he is not listening to you. HE IS. He will not interfere with karma. All that you think negatively will bind you as karma. All that you do as an individual to get back or think back as a vengeance or the wishful thinking of ill will be the binding negative karma. Only way to win divine grace is though " Kshama " or " Internally Peaceful Endurance " . This can be done when you identify yourself with " ATMA " WHO is the indweller in all. You are the holder of the beholder and that beholder can be called by any name, SAI, Krishna, Rama, Allah, Jesus. The 16Th chapter of Bhagawad gita talks about the Asuric and daivic qualities that Krishna divides people into. He also explains in the 6Th chapter who will attain him as Vibhuti Yoga. Swami simplified as to what he taught in few words. Every rejection, mudslinging, failure, deprivation of your own want, is an opportunity to grow into this ATMIC awareness. Swami simply says " Help ever, Hurt Never " " Foget the good you have done to others, and forget the ill others have done to you " " In kaliyuga, namasmarana is the means of attaining divinity " " Unity, Purity, Divinity " ( essence of the 16th chapter of bhagawadgita " " Love gives and forgives, Self gets and forgets " All that we do as seva, nama, japa, through or outside the Organization, should lead to this individual evolution ( parinamam) and lift all the vagaries of mind ( Vivartana). All these are Preyomargam or external means. Swami simplified all the essence of Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagwadgita into his vahinis, Prasnottara Vahini, Jnana Vahini and Dharma Vahini. What you see will be destroyed soon as what you see is all physical and has properties. One that has no properties and is not by bound by time, space and is not finite is within and you can only experience through Sreyomarga.
